Questions, answered plainly
What the data means, what it does not mean, and how to use it responsibly.
Is this a list of leads?
No. A permit is an event. Projects Ahead organizes events into a project timeline and reports the local historical pattern around it.
Are the results predictions?
They are historical frequencies. A page states how often an event followed a given project state in that market and time window; it does not guarantee an outcome for one address.
Where does the data come from?
From public permit records and the agencies that issue them. Coverage pages distinguish an authority that issues permits from one whose data has been tested for project reconstruction.
Why is a company not linked from the directory?
We publish a full company page only when it contains a documented relationship history. The rest remain in the directory rather than receiving a thin page.
Can I use this to make a bid decision?
Use it to prioritize research and outreach, then verify the project with the issuing authority and your own commercial process.
